Michelle informs us that 37,000 people attended the Dallas Tea Party. To put that in perspective, the local Major League Baseball team, the Texas Rangers, only averaged 24,000 people per game last season! Wow!
The Dallas Tea Party organizers have links to local media coverage of the event. Overall, I would say it was a huge success!
The Dallas NBC affiliate had a relatively positive take on the event.
The tea party I attended was in a small town outside of Dallas, but we saw about 150 people there along with some pretty good speeches. I'll get some of the videos and pictures uploaded later this week for you.
It was a hot day (over 100 degrees where I was), but the people stayed for a couple of hours listening to speakers and celebrating the liberty we have.
